pierced princess

OBSESSED with these piercings. i've been wanting to get my cartilage and a second piercing for a while but this all the way down deal is way cooler. of course my mom would never let me! and for those of you whose mom vetoes these kind of things as well, there's actually these incredible things called ear cuffs! it looks exactly like a cartilage piercing except for it just slips right on and off. i love mine! anyway, the first one is actually kylie jenner's piercings! the second picture is one kylie jenner posted on the website she and kendall share.  the third is just one i found on tumblr. i think the second would have to be my favorite. i love the contrast of the edgy piercings with the sweet flowers placed every other.

fall/spring color trends

so i'm definitely thinking that the bright yellows and oranges are going to be big this season. starting at the bright pumpkin orange shades from carolina hererra's spring show with the first two pictures. i think the shades of those dresses are fantastic. that colour is one i love for fall especially, so having it on the spring runway is incredible. the next two pictures are of another colour making an appearance, which is this mustard yellow/bright greenish yellow colour. i wasn't so sure about this one at first, but these stars at the emmy's changed my mind! they all are rocking it and look absolutely fabulous. from left to right claire danes in lanvin, julie bowen in monique lhullier, julianne moore in dior, leslie mann in naeem khan, and kaley cuoco in angel sanchez. i put a close up of julie bowen's dress on here too! julie definitely wins my pick for best dressed.

anna sui 2013 spring runway

the anna sui spring 2013 runway show was fantastic. if you all haven't seen it yet, here's a youtube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NL73_ODo8hE . the mix of girly florals and ruffles, with a slight gothic theme was perfect for a brand new spring 2013. i'm also seeing a little 80's vintage throwback, which i love.
